Armenia

The Armenia national football team, governed by the Football Federation of Armenia, has competed in every FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championship qualification campaign since the 1990s but has yet to qualify for a final tournament. Among their notable achievements are a strong UEFA Euro 2012 qualifying run—finishing third in their group—and promotion to UEFA Nations League B for the 2022–23 season. They also recorded a memorable series of World Cup qualifying victories in 2021, starting with wins over Liechtenstein (1‑0), Iceland (2‑0), and Romania (3‑2), which briefly put them top of their group.
