Austria

The Austria national football team, governed by the Austrian Football Association (ÖFB), became famous in the 1930s as the "Wunderteam" under Hugo Meisl. Their greatest achievement came at the 1954 FIFA World Cup, finishing third, and they also won silver at the 1936 Olympics. More recently, Austria co-hosted Euro 2008 and reached the Round of 16 in both Euro 2020 and Euro 2024.
