Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijan national football team, managed by the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), began competing internationally after joining FIFA and UEFA in 1994. They have participated in every major tournament qualification campaign since Euro 1996 but have yet to reach the final tournament of either the FIFA World Cup or the UEFA European Championship. Their home matches are primarily played at the Baku Olympic Stadium.
