Bulgaria

The Bulgaria national football team, governed by the Bulgarian Football Union, enjoyed its pinnacle success with a stunning fourth-place finish at the 1994 FIFA World Cup. They also earned silver at the 1968 Summer Olympics and claimed three Balkan Cup titles in their early history. Over the years, they have appeared in seven World Cups (first in 1962) and two UEFA European Championships (1996, 2004).
