The Ivory Coast national football team, nicknamed Les Éléphants, has appeared in three FIFA World Cups (2006, 2010, 2014), though they’ve never advanced past the group stage. They’ve won the Africa Cup of Nations three times—in 1992, 2015, and most recently in 2023 on home soil—and are the reigning champions. Coached by Emerse Faé since early 2024, he led them to their 2023 AFCON triumph and now prepares the team to defend their title at AFCON 2025.
