Jamaica’s national team, nicknamed the Reggae Boyz, made history by qualifying for their first and only FIFA World Cup in 1998, where they earned a memorable 2–1 win over Japan. Regionally, they have finished runners-up at the CONCACAF Gold Cup twice (2015, 2017). Under coach Heimir Hallgrímsson, Jamaica are aiming to secure a return to the World Cup stage in 2026.
