San Marino

The San Marino national football team, representing one of Europe’s smallest nations, has historically struggled in international competition, registering only a few wins since its first official match in 1990. In 2024, they achieved two historic milestones: a first-ever competitive win (1–0 vs. Liechtenstein) and then a record 3–1 away triumph over the same opponent, earning promotion to UEFA Nations League C—their most significant achievement to date. Their toughest result remains a 13–0 loss to Germany in 2006.
