The Serbia national football team (Orlovi), run by the Football Association of Serbia, is recognized by FIFA/UEFA as the successor to Yugoslavia and Serbia & Montenegro. Historic honors under Yugoslavia include World Cup fourth places (1930, 1962) and Euro runners‑up (1960, 1968); as Serbia they’ve qualified for multiple World Cups (2010, 2018, 2022) and Euro 2024. Recently they earned promotion to Nations League A (2022) and competed at Euro 2024, exiting at the group stage.
